I finally ordered the Airaid CAi after 3 months of researching and reading testimonials on the forums. I already have a magnaflow exhaust that i installed last night and UPS will deliver my CAI on monday. From what i can tell Airaid is the way to go for plug and play!

I don't like the airraid one because it looks so big and bulky .... I've been looking at the Roto Fab for a long time and think I am finally going to pull the trigger.

I picked up the K&N Aircharger kit for $262 shipped, made my decision pretty easy. I'll let you know how I like it! I think ECS has a special going on it right now...

Yeah, I like the K&N one also but for some reason I like the curve of the Rotofab more than the 90* bend in the K&N.

I installed the Airaid CAI on both my 2009 Charger, and 2010 Camaro, they look great, not too bad of a install and you can feel the difference in the throttle response. I am now looking into the pre-filters they sell, not a bad idea where I live, in the sand and dust.

I went back and forth on this and did hours of research. I ultimately ended up with the ADM Performance street intake. A friend of mine helped me with the install (I'm not mechanically inclined), and it was actually very easy. I love the fit and finish, and it doesn't rely on the hood to seal. I'd highly recommend you take a look at it.

Get a Roto-Fab and call it a day. Once I saw one in person I was sold. I have not had my car tuned for the intake and it's fine.

Halltech's Corvette Reputation just got better

I know this is the Camaro forum, but we've been making induction systems for the LS series motors for 11 years. Experience makes a huge difference.

We just helped a C6Z06 run 9.95 @ 139.18mph all motor. 630 RWHP, and that was our first generation Killer Bee. Stock bottom end, stock rods, and pistons on this car built by Livernois Motorsports.

Mods:
Livernois Motorsports Stage 3 CNC Ported LS7 Cylinder Heads (Customer Core Required)
Livernois Motorsports Stage 3 LS7 Camshaft
Livernois Motorsports Dual Valve Spring Package
(Livernois Motorsports Dual Valve Springs, Titanium Retainers, Valve Spring Locators, Locks, & Valve Seals)
Livernois Motorsports Ported Throttle Body
FAST LSX-R Intake Manifold
FAST Fuel Rail Kit
Hardened Pushrods
Kooks 1 7/8" x 3" Longtube Headers
Kooks 3" X-Pipe (Available in catted or non-catted versions)
RPS Billet Twin Disk Clutch
Wideband 02 Bung
Halltech Killer Bee AAIS Cold Air Intake
ARP Head Bolts
GM MLS Head Gaskets
GM Exhaust Gaskets
GM Balancer Bolt
NGK TR6 Spark Plugs
Synthetic Oil Change w/ Filter
Professional Installation
Livernois Motorsports Dyno Tune

The Killer Bee II is going on this beast next and should bump another 10 RWHP over the Killer Bee on the dyno.

9.80 s maybe?

This same commitment to quality and engineering went into the development of our Yellow Jacket, CAD developed, flow bench and dyno tested, with the emphasis on simplicity and power, with zero tuning or codes. Why spend months waiting for an intake that bucks, surges, and ingests water during rain storms?

14 RWHP guaranteed without tuning. 20+ RWHP with tuning.

i see you keep saying guaranteed 14hp, what happens if i dyno before and after and dont get that, and i dont mean 13hp, i mean if i got say 5 or 7....does the guarantee mean anything? i am soooo close to buying your intake or the CAI one

As you know, dynos vary from shop to shop, day to day, but if you are not fully satisfied with your dyno numbers, send the intake back for a full refund.

We have shops all over the country reporting back more than we got, none less.

Nickey Chicago expected 16 RWHP and got 22 RWHP. One with headers got 14 more horsepower than the Hennessey intake. His report back to us.

We are being conservative in the 14 estimate. Even K&N reports 18 HP with their intake and it is pretty close in design to ours. We use K&N filters on all of our intakes, including the Corvette Killer Bee II.
