I have this same problem as well. This is my 2nd gen 5 Camaro, and this problem keeps popping up. I had the blower motor replaced on my 2010 2LT 3 times, and I still got this noise. Now my 2011 2SS has the same issue.

THIS IS SIMPLY A POOR QUALITY ISSUE. It is not a matter of broken parts, but rather parts manufactured to poor standards. Personally, the noise drives me crazy. You should not be able to hear your blower motor spinning.... Period.

While I LOVE my Camaro.... I probably will NOT be purchasing another GM vehicle. The fact that they would produce a unit such as this, and despite multiple warranty claims not fix the issue, speaks VOLUMES about their "commitment" to quality.

EPIC FAIL GM.

You sure it's not leaves in the duct hitting the blades? I had this problem with my toyota truck. It sounded like a bad motor but was just leaves that got in there after checking the cabin air filter.

Just to vouch for the taking it in solution - I had the exact same problem. Took my car in and complained of a dry bearing sound. They ordered the parts and my car is actually going in this afternoon for the installation.
Just an update - got my car back today.

Still does it. It's really subtle and was on the old blower so I guess I was just being fussy. If yours is extremely annoying I'd wager there are varying degrees of dry-bearing-noise coming from the motors.

Took me five trips to the dealer to get it fixed. They had to pull the windshield to replace heater core as well. Now the dash vibrates on acceleration. Trying to get a Chevrolet dealer service department to even acknowledge the problem is half the battle. Getting them to fix it is pretty damn difficult! Good luck; and get ready to be without your Camaro for at least a week...maybe two.

mine comes and goes. really subtle, though. not enough to warrant a repair at this point

2014 1LT V6 Automatic with 50k miles (bought it used at 45k). I started hearing a little chirping sound from the glove box area when the air (heat) was on, so I figured I'd replace the blower motor. Unfortunately mine has the plastic spikes rather than the screws keeping the cover in place, so I said screw it (figuratively) and left it as is. I'll save it for another day for more experienced and knowledgeable guys. It's warming up around here, anyway, so I can do without any internal air for awhile.
