I finally got my car today !! Had a little time to drive it this afternoon . It runs pretty good and feels stable (@120 anyway) . Lots of little knick knack stuff I need to do . Does anyone know if the stripes on the hood and trunk are oem and can I buy replacements . The stripes on the hood are chipped up pretty good and I would like to replace . Anyway here's a few pics of the car . One is sitting next to one of my third gen's . This car is 30 years younger !!

NICE!

Those look like they could be a factory stripe? Some stripe shops do nice work that could pass for oem. Should be on the rpo if it had factory stripes.

Congrats on that sweet ride, and with the stripe question I don’t think they factory. My stripes don’t go onto the fender like that

Check the RPO label in the trunk to see if the stripes are factory.

Nice & congrats! They look like factory 14-15 stripes. bigwormgraphix is the first to come to mind for replacement stripes.

I found the code list and they are factory (CT2 orange rally stripe pkg.) That being known , can they be purchased from GM ?

And 102SS , yes the remote start does work , I've already ordered two new fobs . I'm not comfortable with only one key (don't ask why) lol .

First thing I did on mine - changed all the fluids front to rear, new belts, plugs and wires. Then a catch can. I spent about $400 on all the fluids and belts and plugs/wires and the assurance was well worth it.
