The Sad Day has come

I had to trade my "Z" it was a financial decision It was mine and mine alone. There will be another one in my future. I Traded it for another Bowtie 2015 Chevy Sonic RS turbo Dragon green. This was one of the hardest decision I had to make as I'm sure most of you out there can relate to.

It's just a car and only takes an hr to buy another one when the time is right. In the mean time you will be much happier without the financial stress. Congrats on making the choice to give yourself some financial relief.

While sending myself through UT Austin in 2001, I lost my job on a Monday, the next day my girlfriend of 3 years broke up with me over the phone and then LATER that evening my 95 Z28's LT1 spun a bunch of bearings!!!

That summer, in 100+ degree heat I drove a 84 200SX while on unemployment, dead broke, freaking out trying to find a job. Life was rough that summer, but it was oddly very very satisfying and liberating experience. I ended up landing a life changing job, swapping my Z28's motor and defining who I was and what I was capable of doing.

Overcoming adversity does more for the spirit and soul than hitting triple 7 every single time. As others have said on here, you've made the right choice and another car is obviously in your future. Next time, it will be something even better!

Good luck man!

Changes

When I finally trade mine in for a Stringray, I know I'm going to miss the supercharger in my ZL1. Do what you need to do because it always works out, so be good to yourself.

On the plus side, my wife loves her Sonic turbo. She calls it turbohog (a play on words - "sonic the hedgehog").

Adversity is the state in which man most easily becomes acquainted with himself, being especially free of admirers then.
