Abygale et al,
The tuning on the car is going fine, as Jeff posted a while ago. We do not use customer cars as test mules for the type of testing that we do. This includes but is not limited to street driveability, dyno testing and mileage accumulation for "Durability" evaluation, especially on a new product such as the DIV6.
Work is ongoing we have made several "hard part" modifications that we are not prepared to divulge at this time.

The product life cycle from concept through alpha, beta, pilot and finally production for an OE manufacturer is typically 3-5 years. We will not take that long, but the production version will not be released until it is right, by the standards we set ourselves, which we feel ensures the satisfaction and exceeds the expectations of our customers.

Best Regards

Graham.

I pretty much understand all this... I knew it, but just couldn't explain it as well as you have!

This is all understandable. The disappointment came from a video tauting fall of 09, and personally being told it would be ready before the fest. I wish you all the best...i am sure it will be great when it is finally done.

They are really doin their homework on this. This will be a great building block for them since the 5.5l next gen v8 will be DI. I'm waiting for the engineered solution.

If they take another 2-3 years with this supercharger, I'm fine with that just because I plan on doing a laundry list of other mods before I try to save up for FI

From what i understand the 5.5l will be going in to the V8, not the V6.

+1 Abygale - it is disappointing and still no ETA. My budget for this summer mostly went to Pfadt (coilovers, trailing arms, control arm stiffeners/bushings, Sport Sway Bars) and East Coast Supercharging for their labor, with the rest set aside some other mods including Cold Air Inductions Inc. CAI pending their release.

I want Graham & team to get this right so I'll get over my disappointment and stay-tuned if they produce a viable offering - hopefully my CDF (Camaro Discretionary Fund) is re-fueled with $$$ when they're ready...or... when STS or someone else has repeatable/dependable success with the LLT.
