Lower grill & intercooler

Any advantages on removing the grill part in the lower grill? Better air flow maybe?

Whatever gains there are in airflow are minimal and you lose both the physical protection and whatever sleeper factor you have left.

I think that the lower portion of the bumper will deform at speeds if you take out the lower grille completely. it adds rigidity to that lower plastic for sure. I have dealt with bumper covers with no grills and its just more floppy. You do have a front lip spoiler that might keep it from bowing.

Also added on ZL1 adding front lip also with support rods

Check on an aluminum billet grille.
