Banana, Just an FYI, hope it helps. After having headers, HFCs, CAI, Bo White PTB, etc. without a tune for 15 months, I threw a code right before emissions were due this year. Got my car tuned and everything reset quickly except my “cat” and “evap” readiness. After my 2nd tune, same thing. I cold started and did GM drive cycles with it twice daily for over a week (86 mile round trips to work). The night I was about to give up and flash a 3rd tune, I had to jump in my car (hot start 160*) and drive 10 minutes to my Mom’s house (30 miles per hour, stop and go traffic) and that’s when the evap readiness went to green. It took me 9 days and 744 miles before my “evap” reset. No rhyme or reason and outside all the written parameters for a proper GM cold start drive cycle.

I'm not going to recommend my tuner (he is listed somewhere above) but at least my mail order tune is good and he didn't total my car like these clowns.

Is the person that owns the Corvette 6 years old? He writes like one. Is English really that difficult?

I didn't realize they stripped out most of the story from that thread, here is one with a summary

Note: I have those same tires on my ZL1 with only slightly more tread on the rears (fronts are still good), and they are still reasonably sticky. Slicks can be sticky that's why race cars use them, except in rain. If it was raining you simply don't go hammering a 700hp car on a wet road. I don't see anything else wet nor have heard it was from anything other than driver recklessness. YMMV

That RPM story is 8 years ago. They are still in business with alot of people using them. Their Youtube channel show alot of quality builds. Wonder why they are so popular these days after that issue?

I dont think that white vet has anything to do with RPM. RPM vette had slicks and skinnies and wasnt a Z07 package. Article says the vette was in west Virginia (DE and WV are a good ways away) and says that the car had Michelin Sport Cup 2s and was a Z07. Also in the pic you can see what looks like an entirely stock exhaust.....cats and all.

OP if you want to take the car for a drive, check out Keith's Pit Stop in Gettysburg when Jeremy Formato comes up. He's an awesome LS tuner and a real straight shooting guy. Also, Keith does the work ahead of Jeremy getting there and Keith does a great job despite being a Ford guy at heart.
I had my C6 Vette and my 2010 Camaro SS tuned by Jeremy Formato. The Camaro was tuned after the LT headers, after the Edelbrock S/C, after the Zl1 fuel pump and 72# injectors. It has run great for 10 years.

Jannetty remote tuned a bunch of boosted cars for me. The fastest one was 8.70@161 in the 1/4 on 24-25psi. That was over 1000hp
