First of all I have no beef. Secondly know body knows what the Z/28 will do against anything let alone a GT500 since they don't exist yet(well except for the one that you apparently have). And finally, not all supercharger are created equal so no you can't compare a modded ss with a supercharger to a factory GT500. The super charger on my SS moves a lot more air than the factory one on the GT500. All I'm saying is once the topic moves to modding then the only thing stopping someone is how deep their pockets are and nothing else.

So..A Z/28 will beat a Shelby Super Snake Mustang?
Didnt know that..nor did I know the Z/28 or another SC'd Camaro will ALWAYS BEAT a GT500. When you decide to return to what we like to call "the real world" where alot of variables can influence a run..let us know, otherwise..enjoy your vacation. |

I imagine the Z28 comes out and puts up better numbers than the GT500, that is if ford doesn't up the hp or make changes for the next MY GT500.
I see ford waiting and seeing what the Z28 has to offer and then makes their move. |

For every one of us, there are probably a thousand others across the country that feel pretty much the same way about the Z28. How many people think the Camaro is the hottest new American car we've seen in the past decade? How many people want the best of the best? Those will go for the Z28. As for myself, I have a down payment and trade in ready to go. It will be mine, OH YES ! It will be mine. ( ...and for all of you guys who bought the 2SS , you had the best of the best FIRST, got to enjoy it sooner, and can stick with your beloved or do it all over again, if you have the means.) .

What's Best
I understand where you're coming from, but strictly speaking, each person's "Best" depends on their criterion for what "Best" means. For examples: ............... Love the style = Best (subjective viewpoint) ............... Fastest 4 seater that I can afford = Best ............... It comes from the factory with a Z28 Badge = Best ............... etc. Best is equal to what a person wants, each person's choice is "Best" for them. NOBODY will fault you for the ZR-1 being your idea of best, but it may not be everyone's choice. .
