Man 700 is a pretty heavy number to reach without a built block. I really don't see you making beyond 560RWhp safely for a long duration of time. It's not that the block won't hold it, I don't see the factory internals standing up to the abuse. What do I know tho.... Try it and see and don't forget to post your build so we can see what you make hp wise.

After the procharger the internals are next. I know that i cant make it their on a stock block. I would need a miracle for that to happen. I will try and get a video together when i get all the parts and post on here. I will have the dyno chart on here as well. Right now is just chill time and just enjoy the ride.

i hear ya, but even 600rwhp in these cars is a hand full. I have had the opportunity to drive a 600rwhp s/c L99, a 640rwhp LS3, and a 800+rwhp LS3, and its alot of power to try to control and fully use. no doubt that 600rwhp is achievable though, a cam and a s/c will get that easily. just remember that the rest of the car like suspension and drive-train need to be built to handle all that new power!

and for the hell of it, this is myself and JUDE's new favorite vid

Bra that is a sick vette. I would love to make that kind of horsepower, but I dont make that kind of money. Thank you for the info tho. I have a good mechanic that will help me out on the way. I hope that I can post all videos on here for the whole build.
Hey do you know that guy that drives that vette? I would like to ride in that space ship.... lol

The car in the Utube video was built by Taylor over at Dallas Performance. I do not personally know the guy that owns this car but I am building a car similar to this one. The base turbo system is made by APS but unfortunately they are not available anymore in the US. I currently am sitting on an APS turbo system and exploring my options for a built motor for mine. Taylor went a different route on the motor than I will but I am keeping mine light by not adding a LSX forged motor. In the end result I should have something close to his performance level.

The car I have is a 2009 Zo6 and it puts down 505hp at the flywheel and is completely stock for the moment....This car is 1000lbs lighter than my 2010 Camaro so it handles completely different.

Everything you do on cars for performance gains will be pricey in the end. The best advice is to do your research and determine whet type of level you want to achieve. This is will be my 2nd 1000hp car so I know the risks.

thats cool man. in the earlier posts I said my goal was to be about as fast as a z06 or just a little bit faster (stock z06). At least i could say that i have the power of a vette. Thanks for the info.
I hope that the vette build will work out. when you get started show some pics and updates on this beast. Wish i could be passenger..
