Hey GM, FORGET IBM - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Before any flamers come on, I have an IBM car and I love it. HOWEVER, that being said, I say to GM FORGET IBM and go with the BLUE on SEMA car #6 in the lower left background of this pic. It's in your garage, go look at it, and make that the blue for the Camaro.

THAT'S the blue; that gorgeous, deep, electric sapphire blue that should have been on this car from the beginning. Forget trying to resurrect IBM and go with that SEMA car blue. You get a few of those all polished and waxed in dealer's showrooms under halogen lights and you'll be amazed at how many of those you'll sell. And I mean amazed in a positive way.

If both had been offered, I'm not sure which one I would have picked, but they really need to get another blue on offer. If I hadn't bought my car when I did, I wouldn't have bought one at all. The three colors that I was interested in, in order, were IBM, RJT, and CGM. None of them are on offer, so I would still be waiting. Thankfully though, I was able to find the car I wanted. Still, GM, you need to expand your color palette.

ahh your correct i apologize..my reading skills have failed me lol..i looked at it and didnt catch the car at first..just saw the gaudy purple..the top left is the dusk. lol.

I love that color. It looks sort of a CGM but with a blue tint to it. Absolutely beautiful!

I am willing to bet that they put a special color on the new ZL called Supersonic blue, they have it tested on the CTS-V and is on the Corvette line too.
