Thoughts on this long block w/ ECS 1500
SBE took a dump so now in the market for a new long block. Priced out TSP & Thompson Motorsports, and Thompson Motorsports is a little bit more budget friendly. I’m doing the ARP main stud upgrade so it’ll do 1100 hp,
4.00 stroke, and Wiseco pistons This will be paired up with my existing equipment. ECS 1500 (will be doing a smaller pulley and max out the blower) DSX Aux pump FIC 127# injectors ATI balancer McLeod RXT clutch OEM LS3 intake manifold Speed Engineering 1 7/8 High Torque Starter What do you guys think of this setup? And which cam? They have the cam that comes with it, but you can choose 1 from their drop down (236/250/115 or 240/256/115) Fully Forged 6.0 370/408CI Iron Long Block w/ Frankenstein M311 Heads 900HP Forged 6.0 iron block 370/408CI stage 3 Blueprinted GM block Seasoned core King main bearings King rod bearings Thompson Motorsports single piece racing cam bearings K1 forged crankshaft with reluctor 3.622" or 4.000" Manley H-Heavy 4340 forged connecting rods with ARP 2000 rod bolts You choice of Diamond or Wiseco shelf piston with GFX file fit rings Steel ring set This short block is rated to 900HP (1100HP with ARP main stud upgrade) Frankenstein Thompson Motorsports edition M311 heads 11* CNC ported aftermarket casting 6 bolt heads Extreme duty stainless intake and extreme duty solid exhaust valves Billet Rocker Rails PAC .007" platinum springs Thompson Motorsports custom ground Camshaft Thompson Motorsports custom length Chromoly pushrods Stock replacement bolts ARP HEAD STUDS ADD $366 OR $400 FOR 6 BOLT Melling Select High pressure oil pump Billet adjustable timing set Thompson Motorsports high RPM lifter set Trunion Upgraded Rockers GM MLS head gaskets GM lifter trays Thompson motorsports Professional assembly and 12 month unlimited mileage warranty https://www.thompsonmotorsports.net/...ion-m311-heads

It's definitely speced out how I would do it. Should be a total animal.
