After my cam, I should have been right around 500hp but sadly I was around 440hp at the wheel. The other thing was the handling. At speed in curves, I was not as confident with the handling of the car, but the som-bitch looked good! LOL

On my SixGen I have new tires and wheels in the basement waiting to go on since I got lowered a week ago and I stayed with the 20". Still looks good or will look good with the new package I have but I don't want to sacrifice the performance and in particular the handling on this car. I did the GM Performance suspension on this car with the .75 drop with new shocks and struts and coils, and the ZL1/1LE sways. Bushings re-timed and 4 wheel alignment and it rides much better, and its like being on rails more so now than ever before. I did a 285 up front with 305 in the back. Can't wait to get them put on, maybe tomorrow.

To the OP, car looks good, no it looks great on 22"s and I'm just a little ways behind you, celebrated my 61st last Friday!

That Gen 5 looks fantastic! 22's look great on it.

22’s look good on both of your cars! If looks and cruising is your priority and you are happy with the looks, then great for you. I think the OP and this 5th gen selected wheel designs that look good regardless of the rim diameter.

77 Holy Crap! I’ll be lucky if I live that long. I’m 61 and probably won’t see 70.
I just gotta ask What do people say to you when they see you driving around in your Camaro?

Thanks! I hadn't planned to part with it but then I drove the SixGen and it was all over with. Wifey was opposed to me keeping them both and can't say that I blame her.

I was expecting to hate the 22"s on a 6th gen but with that drop your car looks great ! Good choice on that springs/
wheels combo

Well with my tinted windows they don't get to see me very much! But seriously, I stay young at heart by STILL playing blues sax at least once a week here in the Twin Cities.

I also thing the 22's in this particular style with your lowering looks great. What finish are the wheels>

And at 77 I aspire to also be driving my hot rod. I'm still a ways behind you though at 64.

Stay young at heart!

Those low-key red stripes look awesome! Pretty much what I'm going for as well. Minimal, not too overpowering.

This makes me laugh at all the hyperbole by the Mustang crowd regarding the Camaro's supposed ergonomic and visibility issues when a 77 year old can enjoy driving his. Well done, sir!
