I have no problem with the Zaino but I'm using the ZFX. I just put 3coats on in 6 hours this weekend. One coat of all in one, and 2 of Z5. No residue and no scratches. I too used the Zaino applicator with a light mist of the quick detailer. One other thought, did you use Dawn to get any other wax off before trying the Zaino?

i must be the worst Zaino user possible.....I put a coat of z2 on about 5 hours ago. It was so thin I could barely see it when i was applying it. U used no pressure other than the weight of the pad. The temp is about 78 and about 45% humidity. I go to wipe if off......small smear dots everywhere.....guess it need to sit another few hours.....this is honestly the most frustrating thing ever....i just want to drive it! I know Adams may not have the UV protection and deep shine.....but does it apply easier? I did a slight mist of z6 on the pad....thought it helped applying it....but i can't get it off!

I am a regular Zaino user. I know it sounds hard to believe, but your experience indicates that you are still using too much product. There are a number of videos available at YouTube that were produced by Zaino. It demonstrates the very, very small amount of product that is needed. PM me if you want to discuss in greater detail.

would have been nice to see that on their site....i used more....but not much more....i basically have to re wash again...it looks horrible....im sure its my fault and it is a great product....but there is no way it should be this difficult to remove....even if there is minor overuse....time to try something new....who knows...i may be back.

To be honest I put on 2 coats of Z5 that went on and came off very easy. I then put a coat of Z2 with the same amount and it was very difficult to remove. Same temp and cure time. Similar to what the OP is describing. Maybe they were all too thick and Z5 is more forgiving. Can someone link a video with the proper application.

Well looking at this video I used too much. I will have to mix up another batch of Z2 with the ZFX and try it again. Iirc I used about 0.75 oz on the car. Even the product description says 8oz bottle should give you 24 coats. That would only be ~0.33 oz.

I've been using Zaino since 2003 and love it! Nothing could be easier and give the shine and protection as this product.
A always use the "Flash Curing" agent and their blond towels as well.

I know its good when people ask "what do I use to make it shine like that?"

Why don't you take your SS on a nice long ride to Pa., and I'll Zaino it for you?

Seriously though, while I swear by the product, if you're not happy, its not worth it. You can offer protection for your Camaro with other products, ie; Adams, or over the counter products such as Meguires and/or Mothers.

While I truly believe Zaino offers incredible durability and shine, if you're not happy/comfortable using it, it isn't worth it. You should enjoy your car and detailing it IMO.

Feel free to PM me if you like and I'll walk you through it. And if you choose to try something else, and need any help, I'm always willing.
