I have zero experience with the Chemical Guys stuff.
But I have had great experiences with pretty much anything Meguiars. I have recently moved on to mostly Griots for my detail spray and spray wax. I use their 'Show Car' detail spray and man that stuff brings out the shine.

I've been using Meguiars detail spray for over two years now. I use a microfibre cloth for the initial application, and I buff with a thick two sided Simoniz detailing cloth for shining, works amazing ! I'll be sticking with Meguiars for sure, it's easy to find in stores, it's priced well, and it works !

Some stuff is great, some is crap. Just like Adams or any other company.
Auto geek and some others allows you to buy products from different vendors and get the best products to fill your detailing kit. Never had any experience with the mystery box though. |

I've never gotten anything bad in an Adam's Mystery Box, but now I just buy what I need!

That said, Adams has some of the best products on the market, second only to Griot's.

I think Adams on average, is better than Griots. Some things, you can not beat Adams on - their Glass products, their Clay Bar Mitt, Wheel Cleaner

I mainly use Griots for my detail sprays (5 minute detail and Best of Show) and spray wax. Because it works great and I can find it at the auto parts store.
