Vinyl Bowtie Help
If you have vinyl overlays, bow ties, side markers etc. where did you get them. I know there are numerous threads in this but I want new feedback. I saw bigworm videos and there's also chauffeur parts or something but those are the only two I know. If you did them yourself was it easy?

eBay... a ton of options and all are going to be cheaper than the pre-cut ones... just get some razor blades and you're ready to go.

I went to my local business that makes signs....bought a 1 ft square of vinyl the color that I wanted for only $5.00 ....bought a x-acto knife, and that was all it takes. Did both front & rear bowties, and the small bowties on the tires too....and have some left over!!

Bought my vinyl at a hobby store for a couple dollars. Used a blade/xacto knife to make the cuts over the emblem. Wasn't too hard to do at all.

Go to your local print shop/sign shop. I went to a Sign-a-Rama. I got mine for free. They have given me scrap. I've been back for more too. Free each time. They give me a sheet that's about the size of a sheet of paper, 8.5x11 inch.
To install, use a rectangular piece big enough to cover the emblem. Carefully stick to emblem, small air bubbles will go away with heat. With something like a credit card, run along the crease that exhists between the gold of the emblem and the Chrome of the emblem. After that crease is more prevelent from running the credit card along those lines, do the same thing with a fresh xacto-blade. Go slow and easy. Peal away excess, and all done.
