I’ll ck my AeroForce next time ;o)
Like the idea of having LEDs, visual indicators ;o) A wideband would also be a good idea, thus why I have one configured in Lambda... -Don

Started the after track check tonight. Going to remove the oil cooler sandwich and replace the gaskets. While taking off the belly pan, found my ac belt came off. Knowing that if they pop off once, it will do it again. Gonna order a gates and replace that as well as the other belts as a safety caution (RPM belt!):
The Toyos did fantastic! Very impressed with the wear: -Don

Good wear on the tires, alignment is spot on for what you’re doing
The ac belt looks narrow, I counted 3 ribs.......but it doesn’t look like it’s shed a rid or two. Verify the new one. I could be mistaken

Camera angle -- it has 4 ribs (I thought the same and went out and looked).
Yes, tire wear was fantastic. Alignment looked great -- ran 28 PSI cold in those and that worked out perfectly -- 32-34 PSI Hot that day. Looking to go out again in May, once I get the safety check done again ;o) -Don

How long will a set of tires last for track days?

We’re gonna find out! ;o)
I have about 500 miles and a track day on these. With me swapping these out after track days, I’m guessing a couple of seasons. It’s about 45 miles each way to the track so miles won’t be as much of a factor. 4-6 track days a season on this set (and 1 on my Dailys when I go to CFest). Pretty stoked at how the Toyos did... -Don

So, I knew my oil filter was leaking a bit, and now I've decided to ALWAYS replace the sandwich gaskets at the same time. This is not a knock on Misimoto -- far from it -- but experience has shown that the sandwich will leak. I'm finding no matter what I do, I only will be successful if I replace the sandwich gaskets also.
I looked over the gaskets, and they are pretty much done: old ones I took off: Old next to new: Its only another 10 minutes to remove, clean, and then install the new gaskets. Torqued the unit to 35 ft lbs and verified all lines tight -- tightened the filter down just to make sure. I'll do a test run after I replace and bleed the master cylinder. Dailys will go on after the MC is installed. I'm also cleaning up the oil mess under the car (not a lot but enough to need to do it). Delrin bushing slid on the LPW so I'm building up a spacer to keep that part from moving. Ah, racing... -Don

Oil Changed, Fixed the Sandwich Plate with new O-Rings -- all new belts, master cylinder setup done. Need to install the speed bleeders and bleed the calipers.
I also sent in my oil sample to Blackstone -- those folks are just great -- awesome service! Here is my report: Blackstone Explanation: https://www.blackstone-labs.com/report-explanation.php Can't argue with that! I can go to 4000 miles on the oil and running the oil temps up to 270° is not impacting anything -- that is fantastic news! Looks like the DT40 and ACDelco UPF48R is the ticket for my setup! Next time, I'm going to send out a transmission and diff sample with the oil and see how that's doing. Very excited about the findings... -Don

Well, today I did my brake bleeding but, with a twist.
I installed speed bleeders: SB1010S: http://www.speedbleeder.com/size.htm And instead of using the Motive, I went to a vaccum pump: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Here are the speedbleeders and the vacuum pump in action: This bleeder makes it so much easier to bleed the calipers! I used the SpeedBleeder's so if I lost vacuum, it would automatically close. The vacuum pump works with compressed air and I ran though a full bottle of SRF. So much easier than the pressure bleeder. The SpeedBleeder's allow me to bleed when I need to (without vacuum if I choose) and makes sure no air is sucked in -- really like that! -Don
