rear end link instructions

Anyone have pics of their rear end links installed? I bought the spohn extreme rear end links with anti roll bar new in box from someone local and they had no instructions on what end is up or down. Right now I have the female end down but saw pictures of the female end up.

I think they may be upside down, tough to tell by the picture but with the way they are there may be interference between the link and mounting tab, if it was reversed there would be more clearance.

Thanks. I may swap them tomorrow when I look for a crack.

They are spherical links. There are two types of sphericals. Those that make noise and those that will make noise.

Either way will function properly, clearance would be the main concern. As JusticePete mentioned look closely for cracks, both of mine were broken, I fabricated heavier tabs but there are reinforcement kits out there which are inexpensive and may prevent future damage especially with firmer sway bars.

Thanks. I have the bmr reinforced tabs on the way. Hopefully by the end of winter I'll have all the suspension upgraded.

Why didn't you upgrade to the outboard mount rear bar?

In 2012, the rear sway bar was changed from an inboard mount closer to the diff that you have to an outboard mount closer to the wheel. It is the single biggest improvement made to the 5th Gen during the production run. The improvement in handling is nothing short of breath taking. It uses a drop link instead of an endlink. The upgrade requires replacement of the rear lower control arms and drop links from GM and a new rear bar - aftermarket of OE.
