I was referring to the bolt-on class not super-mod

Merc and Stanley do tech for us every year and they know the drill so not sure why they would yell at you. Sorry about that. We made some great changes to tech this year which totally eliminated the super long lines we had a year ago. Each year we try to improve things and will continue to focus on tech.

Will also have a drag race meeting on Friday so new folks know what to expect.

Yeah, that change was made immediately after last year. Cars are getting faster each year so the wheel diameter dropped to 15 for the Unlimited / Super Mod class split.
I feel like things were better organized this year. Doing a Lessons Learned and making tweaks has really paid off. It's getting better and better, year after year. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to next year in BG(?).

With a total of 7 V6 and I4 cars I don't think we need a dedicated person for that. Next year this will be just one class and unlimited.
So same setup just better split-up which is understandable. I get we don't get as many V6/I4 guys showing up to race and i know a ton of people who claim they're going never go or never race for whatever reason with these classes. Might i propose you keep the class definition the same. Keep V6/I4 to Bolt-ons Tune and V6/I4 Unlimited to things like 15", Upgraded or Added FI and Non-OEM engine internals. This seems like the easist way to atleast give a chance to people and keep the fields competitive. I know CFest is for fun but nobody likes being classed with a low 13s car in an elimination race when everyone knows your car is a 14s car period in BG heat. It's a crapshoot either way but I think moving heavily modded I4s to V6 Unlimited is a good idea. Especially if the talkers are not all talk on social media about CF10 turnout.

Yeah, agree. Some 5th gen racers may not have run due to not a chance in hell of winning, some due to heat & yeah, some are all talk & no action. We all knew the times those I4 guys can run going in. Either way checking under the hood & matching "like" modded cars would be helpful.

This where i believe having those who know the cars well enough may be helpful. Although most people that go have their cars listed on here and whats been done to them somewhere.
