So you're saying that the SSX wheels will be optional on the ZL1? Even if you can't say, I see no other reason to have these wheels mounted up to the ZL1 (other than to to at least gather opinion on the possibility). All I can say if this is true is OMG, thank you so much! I, like many others, have begged for the black SSX wheels on the ZL1. Please make this a reality!

I was also going to say something about it being a different car. The first thing that stuck out besides the awesome wheels was the leather wrapped (and not suede) steering wheel and shift knob.

It is a different wheel. You can see the difference from not only the ZL1 flat bottom, but interestingly, the shape of the silver trim on the wheel is slightly different also among a few other things.

Yeah, I thought I had read somewhere that the ZL1 was going to have a more "performance" oriented steering wheel. So I'm guessing amongst it's design change that the diameter may be slightly smaller?

So... beautiful... but the steering wheels bring a slight tear to my eye. Not that I think they're ugly, but by comparison to the old steering wheels, they just don't cut it for me. They look too luxury-oriented whereas the 2010&2011 one is just sick.

Also the 45th stripes are beautiful.

awesome pics. the prior photos I had seen did give nearly the detail and having people stand/kneel by vehicles really helps with size proportions also....

DOH never looked long enough at the back ground just looked at the color of the car. I should have known better when I saw the green color and all .
