So I managed to get this done today...

ADM Race Intake with a Roto-Fab washer bottle. I haven't driven it yet due to the weather. It's raining like hell down here.

Well took her for a shake down this morning. She definitely has more pep. There is a definite improvement in sound at WOT. I monitored some of the IAT with my scanner (it does Live Data) and while it's not ridiculously hot at idle it'll be 20*-30* over ambient temp. It drops to about 10*-15* at throttle. Definitely free flowing.

SOTP or Butt Dyno says it's an improvement . I'm still interested in the JacFab Cold Rush when it comes out. Depending on power and price I may buy that and sell the ADM.

All in all I'll give the ADM an 8/10. Definitely better than my past experience with K&N on the S10's.

So got bored and decided I didn't like the way the strut bar looked. I decided to leave the ends natural and paint the center semi gloss black. Two cans of VHT engine paint one primer and one color a little sand paper and tape. Cost me under $20. Here you go.

Oh I'm also seriously planning on getting a set of the Pfadt Tri-Y Headers. I'm probably going to jump on the Independence Day sale on them.

Looks good man, I did my bar also but didn't like the finish when it was said and done, so I had it powder coated for a pretty fair price, then touched it up with a little bling!!

Yours looks good man.

Thanks man, I really do like the finish 10 times better then my results.
The Ls3 badge may get replaced with a 1LE but not sure cause I really do like the way the badge looks, plus I will be doing 2 1LE badges on the hood, so don't want overkill!

Firefighter,
Nice build thread. I simply love the 1LE. They have taken everything I like about the Camaro and put it into one vehicle....Yours..

Keep up the good work and give us more pics...

What i always wondered is what kind of gas do they use at the factory? If its 87 then every SS Camaro would need the fuse pull.

From what I know the Vettes and perf Vehicles like the SS will get whatever the highest octane is in the area. I remember hearing something about them trucking in Chevron Ultimate for the old ZR-1's.

The dealers are the ones that will mess you up.

So to return from the dead. I was all set to order the headers but I stumbled on a killer deal for some CTS-V brakes. So I'm currently knee deep in the parts procurement process. Parts and pics should start arriving in the next week or two.

I couldn't go with out some power upgrades. I am picking up Vmax TB next week and don't mock me for this but I'm going to try the Vararam Power Wedge... lol

My plan is to do headers plus the current mods. ADM Race intake, Ported TB, Wedge thingie, then I'll get it tuned by either Tampa Tuning or Jeremy Formato. I'll run it like that until late next year when the heads/cam/possibly intake/new tune happen .

I'll do suspension mods between the upcoming tune and the Cam and stuff.

So mods are coming soon...
