Should not change the exhaust note except a tad louder since it will breathe even better.

Carbon fiber
I'm interested in the RF intake, ww relocate, and big gulp as the first mod to my vert, but I have a question. Is the carbon fiber finish real or just hydro. I'm trying to think through why its typically so much more money compared to painted.
Thanks, Anthony |

They are Hydro-dipped. The only system made of true Carbon fiber is the K&N, but that comes with a higher price tag and honestly, I still prefer the Roto-Fab. There is not really any benefit to going with real carbon on an intake system, other than being able to say that it is. The Carbon fiber finish does look great though. Feel free to call, PM or email me anytime with questions. Best regards, Tyler 888-308-6007 |

Feedback from more than 1 source shows 25+ HP gains with the hood closed. 30+ HP has been reported to us with "hood open" pulls. The additional gains with the hood open helped influence the decision to develop the Big Gulp to get additional air to the intake.
Keep in mind on the dyno it is very difficult to simulate the air flow. Therefore, some of the additional gains seen with the hood open on the dyno may be realized with the hood closed under actual driving conditions. |

Everyone that has it has been quite satisfied with it. I have the K&N one and like it. Cold Air Inductions has a CAI that some people have that people seem to be satisfied with as well. Have fun choosing!

It's one of a few mods that is well worth the investment. There are other, more expensive CAI systems out there so it will come down to preference in style, cost and performance. I have one of these and love it!

I have installed a new air intake on my ZL1.
It's a Roto Fab, with carbon finishing. It's look very well and quality is very good. Is not the goal as easy as installing the Airaid, All which I Had installed on my SS. Impossible to remove the filter. The filter rubs against the windshield washer tank. I'm disappointed for it!
