LOLOL, maybe 14.5....... 09 plus 5.7 hemis have run 13.9 (very rare base models with 3.92s) to 14.4 with the old 5 speed auto, with the 8 speed ZF and he slightly more powerful hemi for 14 should be even quicker.

all GM has to do is put the 6.2 in an RCSB and they'll have the quickest little truck out there by far! but they wont.

All I can say GM is behind in the truck market, as in performance section. And who thinks trucks are not meant to perform you guys are NOT a truck nut lol I built my own 800rwhp Denali and loved whooping these vettes cobras vipers on the highway!
GM should build a 6spd manuel RCSB with either a 6.2L or a nice boosted 5.3L now that would be a sick truck!

First they come out with the Raptor. Then at the auto show where Chevy reveals their new trucks they debut the Atlas and completely overshadows the new GM trucks. And now this!!! Wake up GM truck department.

What are the numbers for the GM 6.2L? Pretty hard to beat the 470hp and tq of the 6.4L

GM already has an answer to this. 6.2 Silverado. 405 horsies man. The L9H is an L99 no afm and bigger injectors to run E85.
Mine: As soon as the warranty is up I'm sticking a Maggie on it.

so a stock F150 can run 14 flat, this one will weigh less and have more aggressive gears... do you guys know something I don't? how do you know that this truck won't run a 13.5 stock?
I own an Ecoboost F150 and with simple tune and bolt ons they're running high 12s.. here's a heavy crew cab with a 93 octane tune running 13.6 lets face it, Ford took all the wind out of GMs sail at the Detroit Motor Show with the release of the Atlas... GM's response was to make another 5.3 engine and then debate that it's a "new" 5.3 |
