I'm an old school guy so I kind of like them, especially the aluminum ones. I bet you youngsters, not so much.

The E&G louvers look better because the sides have sharp edges compared to the other plastic louvers that have rounded corners, but I still don't like the center supports. The metal ones look awesome but so much $$

Even some youngsters love louvers. I’m 19 and I have some louvers on my Camaro. They’re not the conventional louver style, but I love the normal louver look too. I just wanted something that had a bit more of a modern style to it.

You will always be the car with the louvers no matter what else you might do to it. They make that much of a statement imo. Good or bad, your choice.

My friends either refer to my car as 'the Camaro with the louvers', 'the Camaro with the stickers (my decals)', or 'the Hot Wheels'. It certainly is a one-of-a-kind Camaro. I have to be extra careful of the things I do with my car as everyone in town can recognize it.

I was thinking the same. However the one provided in the picture looks not too bad. The center supports look thin enough compared to some of the other brands that are thicker. I went ahead and purchased them on Ebay. If they do not look as advertised below, I will return them and get the MRT Version at cost if needed.

The MRT aluminum version I had on my previous Camaro were great. The rounded edges did not bother me. The only downside to having the aluminum louvers is that you can hear them rattle on some occasions.

That is different. To each their own.

I understand that this style doesn’t appeal to some, but these look much better in person than in the pictures. As for your original question about cleaning, even my louvers are easy to clean. It’s attached to the window with a lot of 3M strips so it would be very tough to remove. Just a quick spray with a hose flushes anything out and I can wipe inside with a rag fairly easily.
