Tatman also implied that the "Engine Build Experience," which was an available option with Corvette ZR1s, Z06es, Grand Sports with LS3 manuals and COPO Camaros, will eventually be part of the PBC at B.G.

Experienced GM watchers, should see that as a "clue" as to the engine in the "next" Corvette "Z model".

I think this means that production of the LS7 is going to continue....

Is that really how sharp the new angle on the front fascias is?

If so then I actually really like it. Except the fog light treatment on the V6.

The rear is still...eh.

Yes much more aerodynamic. I agree about the rear, however it can be changed out for a 2010-2013.

I'm confused...

Crate motors as in they are still going to build crate motors or they are just using up crate motors. Seems the info in the Tom Henry thread makes it sound like they are going to continue building LS7's.... but of course my perception could be way off.

The LS7 is too dirty to pass emissions as a PRODUCTION motor. It will live on for years as a GMPP crate motor.

A couple of thoughts on that.

So IMHO, making a track oriented let alone a track specific car like the Z/28 a DD would simply be for the badge on honor you would have on your sleeve................unless you have that mythical race track for your commute.

I used to have that mythical track when I lived out in rural LA. Every drive to & from college was hills & twisties.

Living at the edge of town is convenient, but I do miss that drive.
