Summer storms with large hail makes having a garage worth it. Every year we get at least one storm that has hail, sometimes small, sometimes golf ball. I seen plenty of dents at dealers who got hailed upon and the damage is incredible. Ed

Three cars, two car garage. My poor husband has to leave his Impreza in the cold and wet. But we live in the sticks. His car is more likely to be hit by a tree (twice) or swiped by the bear that passes through the yard each night.

Yeah, and some people own too many cars to put them all in the garage. I feel totally comfortable leaving my car outide, because I drive the least expensive car on the street - And that's the truth. I'm slumming it in a Camaro SS. Most my neighbors are Doctors and they all drive expensive imports. |

I thought mine would be safe in my garage. Last October, some f-ing scumbag thief broke the garage side door window to get in our house, scratching the rear quarter panel.
Your car isn't safe anywhere. Oh well, you fix it and move on. |

Just got a house with a garage in March! I am SO THANKFUL for it, and will never take it for granted. We're paying $300 a month more than our apartment that we moved from, but it's worth way more than that to me. I'll never move to a place without a garage again.

It's one thing if you don't have a garage, but if you do have one, isn't the car worth far more than the cr@p in the garage?
Neighbors leave their cars outside, and one morning they got up to find their cars keyed. Another time, items were stolen from inside the cars. Plus cars just rot being outside 24/7. Michael |

I have a 3 car garage that I have squeezed 3 cars, a Harley, and a small cargo trailer into so there is just no room for another Camaro.
