20" SS Wheels for 2015 ZL1
Hi folks. I just purchased a white 2015 ZL1. It has the black spoke wheels with the Goodyear F1 tires.
I have to make a LONG road trip and want to put some street type tires on. Have narrowed that down to BFG or Nitto or Continentals due to their availability and service depots in Canada. I have 2 choices for wheels. 1) Leave the black 20X10.5/11.5 OE wheels on with new tires or 2) Find a set of SS wheels and get tires that are symmetrical in size. With this choice I have read that some wheels fit and some may not. I would like to use 20X10's and am asking how to tell which ones fit and if any one has pictures with them mounted and what tire size you are using. Presume 285-35-20 tires Any other thoughts or perspective would be helpful and appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Any 5gen 20" SS wheels should fit just fine.
When I had my 2011 SS convertible, I bought a set of 20" American Torque Thrust wheels/tires for it. When I traded it in for my 2013 ZL1 convertible, I put the stock wheels/tires back on the 2011 and kept the Torque Thrust set. The Goodyear tires that came stock on the ZL1's had warnings from Goodyear about low temps, including a note that they shouldn't even be stored under 20 F . So, when I stored the ZL1 for the winter, I'd take the stock ZL1 wheels/tires off and install the 20" Torque Thrusts from the 2011 Camaro. They fit just fine. During the winter months, if the roads were clear each month on the day of our local club meeting, I'd pull the ZL1 out and drive it. The Torque Thrust wheels/tires worked perfectly. Make sure they are 20" wheels, and not the 19" that came stock on some Camaros. The 19" wheels won't clear the ZL1 Brembo brake calipers. |

Thanks for the tip on the 19" wheels. That would be a costly mistake.

I found a set of 20 X 8/9 from a 2SS. Anyone have pictures of them on a ZL1? Just curious about how they look I presume the same as o an SS????
Anyone ever change them to black?

They look exactly the same as they do on a regular SS Camaro as there is no difference in hub offset between the 2 styles. I do the same as HDRDTD in the winter and store the stock ZL1 tires inside while storing the car on SS wheels. Blizzaks in 245 front 275 back.

Those look nice. Are those wheels 8.5/9" wide or 10"s? What tire size?
Thanks.

I like yours more than the 2015 style.
I could put a set of those on and leave them on all summer.
