Wheel offset for 22inch rims
Hello I’m interested in purchasing Forgiato Flow 001 rims 22” but I’m kinda puzzled on the offset. The only offset listed for my hub size is +15 & +25 for the front & +43 +38 & +18 for the back. I’m gonna run 22x9 on the front & 22x10.5 in the back. Can someone please help me. Pictures would be a plus

The more "positive" the number, the more flush the spokes will be with the fender (more back spacing). The more "negative" the number and the spokes will sit farther back in towards the rotor (less back spacing).
Decide on if you want a flat looking wheel or a deep-set looking wheel.

It is confusing at first but you will get it. See if this helps.
What is Wheel Offset? Wheel offset is the distance in millimeters from the center line of the wheel to the mounting surface. If the mounting surface is closer to the face of the wheel it is known to have a positive offset and if the mounting point is closer to the inside of the wheel it has a negative offset. Center or no offset is when the mounting point is directly on the centerline of the wheel. What is Wheel Backspacing? Wheel backspacing is the distance in inches from the mounting surface to the inside edge of the wheel. A wheel's width is from the mounting points of the tire beads, therefore the measured width of a wheel from outside edge to outside edge is about an inch wider than spec. An 8" wheel will measure 9" from side to side, this makes converting offset to backspacing not so straight forward. If an 8" wheel has a center offset the backspacing is not 4", it is actually 4.5". |

My Setup - no rubbing, no issues other than a little stiffer ride. Car has C/O's and lowered somewhat, esp cause the new tires are ~1/2" smaller diameter. Proper Stance and a good alignment (esp if lowered) is important.
Foose 22" Wheels and Pirelli Tires FRONT: 265/30-22 = 28.3" tall, with 9.0" wide wheel with 35mm offset REAR: 315/25-22 = 28.2" tall, with (10.5" wide wheel is what I have) or 11.0" with 45mm offset Front: 28.7" dia stock 245/45-20 tire – 28.3" new tire = 0.4 smaller diameter. Rear: 28.7 dia stock 275/40-20 tire – 28.2 new tire = 0.5 smaller diameter. |
