Need help on coils

I finally got to take a step back this evening and the progress on my engine bay clean up finally looks like I am getting somewhere. I started in late October 2015 and pushing to get everything complete by spring. I do thank all of you guys on here as this specific engine bay post has brought inspiration and help me push through the blood sweat and tears. So far I grinded, sanded and polished the water pump, throttle body, idler tension pulley (what reminds me I still have to order a billet pulley..lol), idler pulley bracket and the alternator. I had to fabricate my own alternator bracket that came out sweet, because the factory alternator bracket is cheap and will not polish due to the pot metal aluminum it is made of. I also sanded and polished my brand new CAI system so it matches. That was not fun but worth it now its done. Now onto moving wires so I can add some nice chrome valve covers.

So on to my question; I just made coil brackets to relocate the coil packs off the engine and onto the front lower frame. Myself and a friend both are thinking that it will be ok if the coil packs are mounted so that the spark plug wires are facing upward and the coil plugs face down hiding the wires. I just was concerned if it would have any long term effect on the coil packs or not?
I ask just to double check and because the coils packs were facing with the spark plug wire ends facing down. I greatly appreciate all your help.

Mine have been like that for 4 years. I cant seen any negative facing the coils that direction.

Wires nice and tucked. But one is now to short.

I was able to move and or hide the wires that were on the side of fuse box. Looks sweet and now my plans are to add a small polished aluminum washer box there. I moved the wires, pump and the windshield washer plumbing all to the passenger side. CAI box all free with no obstructions. (factory water bottle history)Now in search of or will make a water washer box. I moved the entire harness mess back about six inches but now have an issue with the throttle body wires to short. I see they have an extension kit online, but really don't want the bulky connectors so I was in hopes you guys would know if it would be ok to extend the throttle body connector wires by cutting and soldering in extensions? I'm concerned if it will mess up the system
here's some pics... Yes I still have to wrap them but might try to move some more out of sight first. Name: IMG_0665.jpg

I'm thinking I still can hide the wire you see on the side of the box. Just been so cold here even with the heat on in the garage its 35-40* inside the garage this past week.

EXTEND WIRES??

Throttle body wire connector to short after moving the harness back to hide some of this messy wire look. The mass flow air sensor is to short also. Hoping to be able to splice extensions in. (I plan to solider them) Will this be ok to do or is it going to throw everything way off and get codes pop up? Has anybody extended the throttle body wire and mass flow air sensor wire connectors? I can upload pics of the throttle body connector and the mass flow air sensor connector if you need?

I have had no problem with shortened and extended wires. Twist and solder them and don't for get to slip the shrink tube on first.

Nice.. Paul I was able to tuck all those connectors that were on the side of the box under the fuse box.. Tested my patience and dotted my knuckles with bunch of cuts but was able to hide them, had to disconnect and connect them after sliding in under the box.. Can't wait to get all this wire mess completed.. Will get you guys some nice pics soon just waiting on more parts and to get some stuff back on. So no issues with codes? Ps.. My heart is in my ass cutting these wires up.. It's got me tossing and turning can't sleep just thinking about doing it but came this far and with all the mod work done there's no turning back now.
