The ole butt dyno will usually tell you that it is running correctly.

Yeah the problem was I didn't know what 372 horsepower was supposed to feel like...now that I know I can hopefully rely on the butt dyno.

Also, I gotta see if I can get another dyno sheet fron Ron....I had it on the coffee table and the dogs got a hold of it....

Don't be scared, lmao! Good numbers, lots of variables in a dyno run. I wouldn't try to wrap your brain around why the other car was higher. Few more miles on his car, maybe less friction, tires warmer - some slip on the dyno. Tons of variables.

Good numbers and it's all up from here!

Can someone tell me what I need to buy from Adam's for car care?

I don't want to spend a lot of money...I just want something to make the car shine and try to get out some swirl marks...

I can buy a mitt, bucket, and soap elsewhere.

Guess I could start here?

John: You are the Adam's expert.....

I want this!! I wish it wasn't so expensive. :(

Don't buy anything yet! I've got their arsenal in my garage. (And Zaino, and Meguires) We'll get together on a Saturday and I'll let you use whatever you need. Then you can see first hand what each one does.

~or~

Stop by Atlanta Sports and Imports, 2905 Amwiler Rd in Atlanta and talk to Steve. They sell and use the Adams line there.

JT,

Adams Expert....I don't know about all that but I do use everything they sell...... and it is good stuff. The thing about Adam's and Junkman is this, They teach you how not to put swirls in the paint to start with or to keep putting swirls in your paint everytime you wash.

I will be the first to tell you that you can not keep a car swirls free, unless you correct the paint and air seal your car up but you can maintain it and reduce the amount of swirls tremendously and that is by properly cleaning your car with the 2 bucket wash, proper mit, foam gun etc.......

So my first advise would be to buy a foam gun, 2 buckets and good microfiber wash mit so that you can properly maintain it once you get it corrected.

Go to some detailing clinics and learn what to do, especially if Junkman is there....Don't be shy and actually do it while he is there....you can learn alot.

Alright we can do that!

I just want something to keep it shining down the road. I pulled into Lynch Chevrolet a couple months ago and parked next to a brand new IOM....and I couldn't believe how dull my paint was compared to that one.

You are the expert!

I was going to buy a foam gun for sure...but I'm not sure how I'm gonna wash my car in Auburn.

I think I'm gonna go to one of those Goo-Goo self car washes... and just use their water and bay for cleaning. Definitely won't use that brush or anything on it. So I won't have a hook-up for a foam gun.

Also, we finally received our $1500 down payment from the original dealership yesterday afternoon.

They told us that they had sent it out around last Tuesday (I can't remember the phone call day).

Got it yesterday and it was sent Fed-Ex overnight.

Another lie.

So glad to be done with those fools.

J.T. First very nice looking Camaro there, most are. Well now you see why some call them stealerships. Good to read that you got your down payment back. You have learned some good lessons at that first dealer. We are all emotional when it comes to our cars and some dealers take advantage of that. Best of luck with the new Camaro and most of all enjoy.

Thanks for reading!

Glad to have it all behind me that is for sure!

Come back next week I'll have a few "mods" done to the car.
