I had a c5 with a 408 F1R set up that made 1030rwhp, while it was awesome on the high to roll race and spin the tires at 90 it kinda sucked for the 1/4 mile. Every time I shifted it would be like a switch at around 3500rpm from slowly climbing to very violent and would kick the car all over . I also had a 347 D1sc set up in another c5 z06 that was awesome , not as crazy as the f1r but very punchy down low. I know the camaro is heavy so I dont want it to be lazy off the line

Also I'm running
3:91s
Billet end caps
1000hp drive and half shafts
Poly bushings
Zr1 twin disk
Everything from bmr ( control arms , frame connectors, toe rods , etc)
50/50 & 90/10 drag shocks
Bogarts with 28x10 slicks and mh skinnies in the front
This is how I drive around lol .... Also has a tune time blower cam in the car .... I think the slicks are helping save the drive line also

Some say it will feel sluggish down low spun that slow but i found an old thread on here where jannetty dynoed the two and the ysi made 10hp more throughout the entire pull with same pulley.
Yeah I was told they are the same blower except novi is a billet case vs the vortech cast case.... What made you go with a ysi b over an f1r or x?

Just took the ysi for a test drive today. It makes the same boost with the same pulley as the paxton 1500. I was worried about it feeling "sluggish" spinning it this slow like ive read everywhere online but it feels the same as the 1500. It was a little lean up top and needed retuning so i guess its flowing more air. But it has a lot more in it where as the 1500 was maxed out. Time for a pulley swap!

I am at about 90% duty cycle on the id850s. I have a squash system i need to install and increase the base pressure to make up for that.
