Yes, see how the white stripes doesn't interfere with the black grill area, wheres black stripes are the same color as the grill. I think that's why I like the look of white better. Also my ground effects on my car are black so it wouldn't look good with black stripes running into it. If I didn't have gfx or if the gfx we're inferno orange then it would look better. But there's something about your car, iomZL454 that I like. I think its bc the stripes are satin black like the factory stripes and they aren't painted, not too much gloss. I also like how there is the thin border strip that is around the stripe just like the factory rally stripe. Most photoshop renderings just show the wide stripe without a border.

White vs. Black

Initially, I preferred the white stripes but circumstance brought my way the 2SS with black stripes. If I ever decided to paint on stripes, I might defer to the white. Having said that, the black does look much better in person. Pictures don't seem to ever accurately depict IOM and in this case the satin black stripes. I also think flat or satin black says "MUSCLE CAR" more than the white. Picture below shows fairly accurately the black on orange of my car.

Well I have to admit your style stripes would make me go with black instead of white: thumbup:

Thanks, I'll take some pics next weekend and post them. I just covered it and put it away in the garage. It was part of the slp zl 585 package.
