#194 made it home last night, as reported in a thread a couple of days ago
 Driving to and from Atlanta (about 8-9 hours one way) always leaves room to talk about e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g! (sometimes more than once!) And see how many IDIOTS are allowed to have driver's licenses! Glad we trailered it back (enclosed)! Pics of her cleaned up will be coming soon, and I advise you to wear sunglasses, because the glare of the Zaino will be BLINDING!

Mike got home from Las Vegas and finally got a chance to drive the new baby. We took a run part way up the San Bernardino mountains and it was a wonderful way for him to really get a nice intro to our new car. Here are a couple pics that we took.

From Delivery to Getting Home! What a hoot!
All concerned at City Chevrolet attacked the car with interest and care! The PDI was superb! It was the first one delivered by Hendrick's City Chevrolet in Charlotte NC!
#199 is now home after a stop at ROCKET STOP FIREWORKS! How appropriate is that for the cars first stop on the way home? I met a fellow C5'er (BigV8LS3 - Jerry) who had expressed an interest in seeing the car. That's the selected spot. He showed up in a 2300 Supercharged G8 with coil overs and plenty of speed. After getting home, my wife and I got the Z Dog and went out to take some pics (after an additional wax)... Thanks GM! It's a beauty! LB |
