It is a woman's car

Funniest comment so far about the Camaro I have!

I had just finished detailing the car and a guy commented on how nice the car looked and asked if it had a V8 and I said no, a V6.

While talking to his friend as he was walking away, he said, "It's a woman's car".

I never knew the V6's are gender specific or that it mattered if a man or woman drove it.

Do you all have any funny stories?

if they were older, they may have come from a time when certain cars were marketed to woman. like the Berlinetta Camaro or the LadyBird or BlueBird Firebirds, which usually came with the smaller less powerful engines

My Dad's wife had a Berlinetta... Luckily for me, my wife always owned Camaro's w/ V8's and a stick.

Did you ask what he drove, what HIS 0-60 time was, and how well it does in the twistys?

I wasn't offended by the guys comment but found it comical and entertaining. I literally smiled. He wasn't older, maybe in his mid 20's at most.

I was once asked if it rode rough.

"Nope, real smooth and the exhaust never gets hot either. Here, just touch this chrome tip..."

In the 2014 MY for example, 70% of all Camaros sold were V6s. That's a lot of female buyers. V8 fans can look at it this way: if it weren't for V6 sales, there wouldn't be a Camaro.
