Stock ls1 vs lt1?
My friend has a stock 98 ls1 trans am. Here are my mods, I put down 295 rwhp 320tq. How do I stand up to him?

Drivers race maybe
stock ls1 put down around 300-315 to the wheel. Good luck! |

I'd say drivers race, you might have a little bit of a weight advantage. Extra body pieces on the TA and the hatch is heavy too.

It should be a very close race up to about 80mph. Beyond 80 mph, the LS1 should have a nice advantage.
So you'll want to be out front off the line. |
