Question Let's talk heads

Looking for opinions for my setup. I have a LS3 with an eldebrock s/c, 3" pulley, btr 3 pd cam, dual alky control, 1 7/8 headers and e-85 at 725 rwhp. Wanting to do some heads to increase flow. Are there any gains to be had power wise? What would be a good choice ? Ported ls3,lsa, or should I go aftermarket? Any input is appreciated. THANKS

I asked my engine guy the same question, we have similar builds. He said save your money. New heads would increase flow, reduce boost but I would not see much in addional hp.
I saved my money.

Yes it is all stock assembly. Parts have 30k miles with no oil leaks and not a puff of smoke! These ls3 motors are beasts! I am concerned that I might be restricting the motor which I don't want to do, right?

I am unable to give any real advise. But ask some basic questions.

My thoughts are the heads are capable of make huge power naturally aspirated.

There may not be much to gain at the current boost.

What about replacing the pistons, lowering the compression and raising the boost?

I build super bike motors and just learning about these engines. So..

I'm thinking if your trying to eek out as much HP as possible then yes. A set of high flowing heads would help. But dang, seems like your already pushing the limits of the OE internals.
Maybe just save the money for now. You may need it later.

Actually the edelbrock is a milder supercharger normally you must have yours turned up a lot.... And I have a forged new block, and ported heads. There is of course better of anything..... but the purpose?
