Xpel Wrapped Carbon Z28

We just finished up with the Carbon Fiber from Anderson Composites. The carbon is wrapped in Xpel Stealth and the black was done in Xpel Ultimate.

The current weight is 3818 lbs after the weight reductions from carbon fiber and deleting the airbags and seatbelts for the full cage. There is just over 100 ft of chromoly tubing inside the Z28 with a full interior.

The only thing I'm not sold on is the hood. Other than that, STRAIGHT UP...EVIL!

Awesome job!

The hood is the COPO reproduction from Anderson Composites.

We needed the extra room under the hood for the Magnuson Supercharger TVS2650 we will be testing soon. We have the Dart LSnext2 block and Dart Splayed Valve Heads already. The goal with the Z28 is 1/2 and 1 mile events. That is why we added the front sub-splitter and rocker extensions to improve the down-force needed for the speeds we are shooting for.

Ok. Now the hood totally makes sense. I'm on board!

Thanks for all the great comments! We spent a lot of time preparing everything before the wrap. All the carbon got 5 coats of PPG clear before we blocked and polished it.
