Whipple-Cam-Headers = 700+RWHP !!!!

We just finished this car up Friday morning. The customer was hung up on which supercharger to get. He could not decide if he wanted a Kenne Bell or a Whipple. But after a few phone calls I had him feeling pretty good about going with the Whipple. Needless to say everyone was happy with the end results of this build. The car was making 9-10#'s of boost

Prior to arrival

2010 LS3 Camaro M6

CAI Cold Air Kit
LG Super Pro 1 7/8" headers
Catted Mid Pipe
Mike Norris Tune

RPM Installed

Whipple 2.9L Supercharger kit
MSD Boost A Pump
RPM Motorsports LS3 Blower Cam
PRC .650 Springs
Hardend Pushrods
RPM Motorsports Tune

just curious what the cam specs are? also did you change the fuel injectors? and is a boost a pump good enough for that kind of power?

Nice numbers... I am pretty sure they will need a dual fuel pump with that kind of power.

Are you sure that's only 10lbs of boost? I'm at 10lb boost with my E-Force, 65 lb/min injectors, blower cam, and a dual fuel pump. With a 11:1 AFR at WOT I'm generating 637 rwhp. I'm afraid to take the tune any more lean than 11:1 AFR, but I suspe with a stock bottom end. I suspect if I bumped it to 12:1 I might reach 650 rwhp.

Air fuel was 11.7:1 at wot. And yes we barely touched 10#'s up top. The Whipple seems to be alot better blower than the Maggie and Kenne Bell. We have not installed or tuned a E-Force yet.

Great job and impressive numbers guys! Whipples are great! IMO, they are probably the best blower for these cars.

Jason..I was watching this thread before it was 'edited'...glad it was...

You guys put down some serious ponies on this car!

Is he using stock pistons?

I had Rippie (DRM) put a Whipple on my LS3 in Feb this year, along with LS9 cam...it pulled 600rwhp...but Nothing like yours
