And be prepared to walk away. The negotiating thing is super stressful. The first offer we put in on a house left Jen wanting to forget about buying anything. It all worked out for the better as the house was in Economy... this was before we understood the differences in areas (no offense to anyone who lives there).

What's wrong in Economy? I live in Economy Boro. Aside from $9000 a year school taxes.... it's a great place.

My wife works downtown, so ease of convenience to 79/279 was imperative. We also wanted to be close to everything (and desired "new" stuff), so that left us with Cranberry. We liked Economy for the price, but we also knew that our first house wasn't going to be much more than 5 years, so we cared about resale (ie: school district).

There are times when I think about "what if," but we're happy where we're at now. For reference, it was a house off Zender Road, IIRC.

5 Year plan for me to, hopefully it works out that way lol

We would have been neighbors. I'm at the Ambridge sportsman club, across the street from the dog training and hunting field.

Hello and welcome to the Pittsburgh Thread.

Moved back from Australia? Wow, quite the move. So you live in the area beforehand and went to Australia? Why in the world would you come back here? hahaha Just kidding...

We are currently preparing an offer to be submitted for a house tomorrow, however, if that doesn't work out, we'd be definitly up for seeing the house you have up for sale.

As for coffee, sure thing. Weekends are typically the only open times we have but can surely make time.
