After Ordering...

How long did it take to get a TPW?

This will depend on your dealer and when they have allocation for your order. I've seen people have a TPW in less then a week and I've seen it take several months.

I think it was a couple weeks and I had mine but I'm in the very first batch of 1LEs ordered so it may or may not be quicker than ordering now. Ordered mine the first day able to.

It was about 2 weeks after I placed my order that I got a TPW, placed my order 8/23 and got a TPW on 9/5. I'm in that first 1LE batch on 10/15 too, so I don't know how long it will take for others. Hopefully you'll be in the 1LE club soon!

does this mean an allocation as in a spot for my order on their lot?? if so that sucks for me, my dealer got a camaro shipment in the weekend before i ordered :(

it's been about 3 weeks since i made my order also...the anticipation is driving me nuts. it'll be my first camaro, but still no TPW here either

Plenty of us ordered august 20th, imagine how we feel? First build weeks seems to be 10/15, and its a guess game how long after that it will take for it to hit the dealer. Man, I cant wait for mine and I am certain it will be worth it...... The wait is tough....

I cry each time I see someone who ordered in Sep. get a production week earlier than 10/15 :(

And don't be surprised if they are put on hold after rolling off the line. New models always seem to be held up for QC.

I am ok with them holding cars for QC, just as long as it comes to me made right. Would hate to fly down the track with a quality issue. However, I am very optimistic since these are all parts from cars that were already in production.
