NPP with headers sounds sooooo damn good.
I will never change mine out.
add a M2W switch and it is pure heaven. quiet when you need it and LOUD when you want it to be.

Whats the noise like on freeway with it open and whats it like (do you think) closed?

It's really not bad when I'm on the freeway with cruise control set to like 70-72mph. Turning about 1680rpm, it's not much drone.
As soon as I even LIGHTLY tap the pedal to pass someone, the drone is there though.

I'm not sure what they'd be like closed since I pulled the fuse a few hours after I brought my car home from the dealership. But if I was going on a long road trip, with hours of driving where I wanted to talk with passengers, or have a passenger sleep, I'd probably put the fuse back in temporarily.. if they didn't like it. (Wouldn't bother me at all though)
Or do like Dusk said and get a M2W controller. (I have no experience when those though.)

Yeah, I used the M2W in my C6 Vette and it is really nice plus a fun gadget. Are those numbers with LTs, CAI and tune only? I live 3 miles from Ryne's shop

Yeah, I have just what's in my sig. Kooks LT's, CAI, NPP, and Ryne's tune.
Strongly encourage you to go to his shop. He does great work.


I'm also going back to him in about 2 weeks for one of his custom grind cams.

He did my 2010 and with same mods as you got 416/410. I think these 1LEs have a little more than normal SS. I went by and showed him the 2014 with Recaros and talked about doing a light cam. I just have no desire for drone.

Yeah I don't have a 1LE, but the electric power steering for the 2013+ definitely frees up some HP.
He really woke my SS up. Looking forward to his custom grind cam package that I'm getting done in 2 weeks, I'll post results of course.

It's not the 1LE package that is making more hp it is the 13 electric steering and npp that is making the difference. SS and 1LE alike are both putting down more power stock for 13 and 14.
