DMV messed up. I own a CAMERO.

I have had my Camaro for three weeks now and it is a joy to drive. Thanks to DMV I now have this to think about every time I drive it.

You see I got my license plates yesterday and I put them on right away. I went to put the registration in the glove box, took a look at it to make sure the name and address were all correct. What do I find? I am now the owner of a 2010 Chevy CAMERO. No, I did not mistype Camaro, DMV did. This is going to drive me nuts thinking about this all the time. If it is wrong on the registration it is most likely wrong on the title also. The bank has the title so this may be hard to check and ever harder it get it fixed. Where do I go to get this fixed? The dealer, did they misspell Camaro on the paperwork they sent to DVM. Is it a DMV error and I need to take it up with them?

One guy's Texas paper plate said 2010 Chevron.

Well just get it fixed when your registration is up for renewal and don't worry about it.

Here in Michigan I just own a Chevrolet. No attempt was even made to add the word Camaro.

Well it's good to see that other DMV's are as inept as CA.

I don’t think it's a big deal. The VIN and it being matched to the right license plate number is what really matters. If it's worth your time you could probably go back in and let them know. With our DMV out here it wouldn't be worth loosing another hour or two of my life in line there.

LOL...I WISH I had the time to worry about something like this...much less consider the amount of wasted time trying to get DMW to fix it.
