Life is short with no guarantee of tomorrow. Do what makes you happy today and worry about 2018 in 2018.

ASTEROID 2018

Its a fact that an asteroid will hit earth on 2018? - Yahoo! Answers

Start with some basic bolt-ons, i.e.; CAI, Vmax tb, iceolator, drop springs and sways and enjoy your nice red Camaro. These mods would not cost too much, ~$1200 and you will actually increase your mpg. I don't care for the sound of the V6 so I wouldn't waste $1000 in a catback. Also, the CAI, tb and icelator would be easy to R&R if you felt you had problems related to your powertrain warranty. Keep your original equipment. Drop springs and sways would not only make it handle better, but, it will look nicer. Just my opinion. Good luck with your decision.

Camaros never become obsolete. Camaros get better over time.

So the consensus stands: Enjoy it anyway and mod away lol.

Now to solve the broke-college-student issue! I think I'll start with a CAI - cheap first-step mod. I'm already looking at several KN models. But I won't turn this into a CAI thread

haha thanks for the replies guys!

The taillights already ran their coarse in 1997 on the Honda Prelude.

Then I started thinking: in 2018, if I do add a Supercharger, CAI, exhaust system/headers, brakes/tires, all the bells and whistles, will it still be able to hold up against the technological advancements of 2018 stock Mustangs, Camaros, etc?

I'm new to the entire car hobby thing so I probably sound like a babbling idiot.

Opinions? Thoughts? Comments?
Any car will be obsolete in 5 years. 4 years ago, a Mustang GT was hot stuff for most people. Now...gets run over by a V6.... Camaro or Mustang
