Tks for the opportunity to help Don. Definitely interesting to tune a 102 with a 5 inch duct. They say this is a combo that will test a tuners ability. It certainly did. Lol. That car is a beast.........

It was fun for sure! I’ll get it up to GPI for a dyno run, just to see what kind of difference it made. I prefer to ck the changes on the same dyno...

Gonna be fun driving around for a bit before CFest!

Well, Mark and I played with the AC ON/OFF tune tonight -- now the Lambda is just as good with the AC off as it is on. We also improved the ac off startup and run. Amazing what Mark was able to show me -- its really been a challenge but a FUN one -- we've both learned a ton doing this NW 102, RPM 5" and hot starts!

I'll be taking it out tonight to log some drive time and do a couple of WOT runs (no ac on). Can't wait to see how it goes.

I have a couple of other projects to do:

In-line electric water pump (Stewart) and looking into a ProMeth system for 'after' blower cooling (not for power). I'd like to have 'dual' 4 gallon tanks in there but will need to ask them if that is possible -- then I'd have a pretty 'cool' setup ;op...

Took it out tonight-startup was fantastic, ran really well, and WOT was almost perfect! We have just a few areas in the MAF curve to tweak but damn, it’s running nice.

With these few tweaks, we’ll pretty much have it ready for CFest! Even though I was hoping to have GPI do it, I think them being really busy gave Mark and myself the opportunity to learn for ourselves!

ProMeth system ordered!

Got the lid:

https://prometh.com/products/copy-of...nt=32563342222

and tank kit:

https://prometh.com/collections/2010...nt=44239997198

Looking into controllers next. This is a post rotors spray just for cooling. Talked to ProMeth about road racing with it. Looks like I’m going to find out how long the meth lasts for a session! That will happen after Fest!

2nd night of WOT tests, this one is a better adjustment for fueling. Mark located a couple of table that we needed to adjust and off I went!

We’ll review those tomorrow but, think we’re very close for course work!

3rd night WOT and looks like it’s got it! Mark and I may tweak the hot start just a bit but for the most part, doing great!

Meth kit will be here Friday but I’m not going to start any new projects until AFTER Fest this time ;o). Gonna drive the car a couple of more times then get things ready...

Excited for Fest!

Happy 4th! Today Mark and I reviewed the tune and logs. Mark worked on the VVE tables to see how this would affect ‘transitions’. Drove very nice. Tested with ac on/off and tested hot starts the same way... Mark has had a ball (and so have I ;o)...

Prepping for CFest now!

Looks like VP has methanol (they’re in San Antonio) now need to find it locally! Hope to find a local place that has a reasonable price (like not $20 a gallon ;o).

Renegade in BG has their own so that is good to know!

Sent the tune and logs to Ryan to confirm the work Mark (mostly) and I did before I go to CFest...

Really excited...

Tweaked my hot start today in order to make sure startup is good when road racing. Sent my tune and log files to Ryan for his review..

Went out with the ‘Z’ group today — those folks are the ‘salt of the earth’, just awesome folks... food and fun, pics to come...

Here is the crew, very nice rides -- keeps growing!

Lots of Z/28s in one spot! 3 folks were unable to attend but still so much fun!
