Not people, just birds....LOL...they look for my car.

Mix up some rinseless solution in a windex bottle, carry with a microfiber for n the trunk for greasy fingers and birds....

Yeh... I though the same thing so parked next to a Cadillac Escalade in a subway parking garage. When I got to my car the MFr banged my car door so hard it put a dent in the door. This was when I had my 2011 Camaro. I know he did it because the dent was up high just like his car door sits. Went looking for the same car the next day with a hammer. Never found it.

Car is rarely parked out of eye shot... This is the only way to protect the paint. I get anxiety when someone gets to close.

Anyone ever try a good paintless dent removal company for taking out door dings. I tried one once and they did a good job.

1 month into ownership I had just parked at the grocery store and this woman in a Fusion pulled in extremely close and slammed her door into my car. Luckily the parking spots were angled and she hit my front corner light which was wrapped in vinyl.

I always parked far away from people after that.

I always park most anything way out in the sticks of a lot so to speak because other people just do not care.

That said, you also have to watch on windy days for carts rolling across the lot when people just leave them sitting. Am usually checking which way the flags are facing as to what end to park in at a grocery store for example.

It's not about the car looking "too good". It's about jealous and disrespectful people being assholes to anyone who has a nicer vehicle than them. I always park far away from whatever building I'm going into and 9 times out of 10 there is always someone that parks their pos right next to me, even though there are numerous spots available and closer to the building. Unfortunately it goes with the territory of having a nice car.

Yeh...its what used to fix my dent, he did it in 45 min and couldn't tell it was even there. Charged me only about $100.

I had someone do a hit & tun, cave in my passenger rear quarter panel in out local Safeway parking lot. And I was out towards the fringe area. Bright red car on a sunny day is hard to not see. People just suck sometimes. But is the grand scheme of things, it's only a car.

Indeed, but the way i look at it, I have a 2 year old grandchild fighting the good fight with with brain cancer, and I see what is happening to Texas. Those types of things are big deal. This was a PITA, I got it fixed, and consider it's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

People are jealous jerks sometimes...happens all the time. I always park really far away from people and somehow someone almost always parks right next to me in some beatup old junk. I rarely ever park my Camaro in a parking lot for a store, but if I do it is not for long. Those are the worst places to park and the highest chances of these types of things to happen.

Hate when people say its just a car. This car is expensive and requires you to make payments on it. How do you do that? You give up your time at work to afford it. Your time on earth is limited. You are giving up time to own the car. The car is YOU because it is your TIME and your ENERGY.

Id be pissed. My car is a 2SS and cost a little more than half a year salary for me. I'm giving up 7 months of my life to pay for the car (of 6 years). You better not hit it and run, those 7 months were mine. Not yours to put a ding in.

As a side note, I NEVER park next to another car. Ill walk half a mile before I do such a thing. Luckily, I can usually find distant spots without parking too far. No dings in my Camaros for 4 years now. Last time was at work and I think it was my boss. Asshole probably did it on purpose. I was lucky it popped out and buffed the white paint off.
