Unfortunately, at my age I have gone through this many times. Once the newness wears off the interest wanes. A LOT of young people bought Gen 5's initially and they have outgrown them for many reasons....marriage and children, school, and jut plain need more room. Personally, I have had 3 Gen 5's and I enjoyed them all. I must say that being old school, I got upset at what some do to their cars.....I know....it is their money and their cars BUT when was the last time you saw a 1st Gen with 30 in tires on it!!!??? No one would hack one of those up like some of the 5ths have been. I know several "older" people that chose not to associate with that image.

I try to go to Cars and Coffee in Palm Beach. I have to go with the Corvette group when I attend. It is a 2 hour drive to and 2 hours to come back. There are groups that go to shows but it is not a exclusive Camaro group. Maybe when people start buying the 6th Gen it can probably come back.

Right, I have been a Camaro owner... I saw the rise and fall of the F-body.... i used to hang out with SFFBA back in the great days of the 4th Gen F-body.. and that died down... then of course the 5th Gen camaro came strong... and it started all again.. it's cycles and it comes and goes.... it's normal...
People do tent do out grow the camaro and that's normal... part of life.

I’m still alive and kicking. Like others have said, “life happens” and it was time to let go of the Camaro. I’m Driving around a 2015 C Class Mercedes these days. Although not a day goes by where I don’t think about that car. Just the thought of the amount of time and money I spent on it only to turn around and sell it for someone else to enjoy turns my stomach. I thought about grabbing another one. But I could never drive around a stock Camaro, and I really don’t have the time or funds to start the rebuild process all over again. We’ll see what the future holds!

I'm here, just got here but I have a Camaro and had heard stories of Camaro 5. I'm in Tallahassee, but I don't know of any clubs or anything up here. Only a few that are owned by guys at my school (FSU).
