I previously had installed the tsp 235/239 cam. This winter I installed the LOD intake and had the heads cc ported. Picked up 51 hp... the tq stayed exactly the same. I was happy the tq# didn't go down. I'm very happy with the intake...

That’s awesome! I’m even more tempted. I remember reading somewhere that the power numbers gained from this intake was a bigger gain than the fast lsxr intake. Are you running a oil catch can with this intake too?

No catch can. Have k&n breathers in both valve covers.

Still looking for more info. Most of the folks I have seen on here, and LOD Speedworks are running 416 strokers with this intake. My tuner said that it probably would not net me much even with the big cam and supporting mods, because it is designed for big inch applications, but I like the looks of this intake and can't see why if it did so well on a stock LS3, why it wouldn't work on a cammed up beast like mine that has a power band much higher than stock was. Still waiting, and I noticed the price on these went up 200 bucks..

Mine picked up 51 hp by porting the heads and adding the intake.... to me that's impressive. Stock ci and tsp stage 4 cam. I haven't been to the track yet, but got about 5000 miles on it and love it... no regrets!

So is this more of a drag race intake?

I am running the TSP Stage 3 cam, 231/246@ 112 LSA, 640/615 lift with a CAI, ported TB, LT's and a 3 inch catback and a 3200 stall. We just did the build in June and she is putting down 460rwhp and 430rwtq on a mustang dyno. Been watching this one for quite some time, love the look of it and also want something different under the hood besides stock, and to not have to cut up the cowl? I'm thinking yea I just might have to get one.

What were the before/after numbers? I agree, a 51hp pickup on heads and intake is pretty stout, bout as much as you pick up with a healthy cam.

Tsp 4 cam n headers made 473 hp, ported heads and the lod intake made 524 hp.

I was disappointed after the cam with only 473. My tuner said the motor needs to breathe, need to upgrade the intake and exhaust. He was right.

Fyi, I just installed 3" spin techs, h pipe... no cats. I can tell its breathing now. That 2.5" was restricting...

YUP, still wonder if they are making them for the ls7 heads, and the new lids etc.... ?

Funny I Owned a 71 Monte painted about the color of Docs on the 405 ...I had 150 louvers punched in the hood in a arrow head shape, made high chromium buffed drip pans for the louvers and custom cowl to show off the built 350/400...LOL But then again I owned a lot of cars I built.... stuff used to be cheaper it seems and the same cars I bought for cheap ...well they are a lot more now..not so prevalent everywhere due to time being snagged up or rust or wreck.... owned basically stuff 73 and earlier......mostly Chevy.

Hey guys, I talked to Rafiel over at LOD yesterday yesterday about this intake and he was telling me that on their "basically" stock Camaro it netted them about 30 hp at the wheels. He asked me about my cam specs and with everything that I have done to the engine thus far that I should see about a 40rwhp gain with this intake due to the fact that I have such a big cam and 3 inch exhaust with LT's. He was telling me also about the converter I have that I would probably not lose any low end at all. So I am thinking I'm going to get one and just see what it can do for me. If I get 30 or more hp I will be happy and would put me close enough to 500 to call it a day. Like I said I have 460 right now on a Mustang dyno.
