Disposing of a Bumper
I had no idea where to post this so I decided to just post it here. Those of you who have had body parts replaced especially bumpers, how did you dispose of them? Especially the DIY guys? Thanks in advance.

If you have a landfill or a dump you can take it there. I'm sure someone on Craigslist may want it as well.

I've cut up bumpers with a sawzall and put the pieces in the curbside recycling bin.

Body shops generally have a container where they collect bumpers to be repaired. My car lot is next to a body shop. If we replace a bumper, I through it across the fence and into there bin.

You can drive it to the local land fill, or I betcha some body shop might take it and repair and use it some other day they might pay for it.

Those r all good ideas. The only problem I have with taking them to a landfill or body shop is that I have no way to transport it since my camaro is all I have.

Just cut it up with a hacksaw or something.

Heard that, it is something at how big a bumper looks when it is off the vehicle.
