I'd get a catch can even if it was stock.

I too have been reading the mod threads for four years. The way I see it is, there are two kinds of modders. The first, wants the HP and wants it trouble free as possible. The second, doesn't view the setbacks as "problems" per se, just a minor hitch in the overall journey.

I probably don't have enough money, time and stomach for real problems like lunched motors and such. And yes, it does happen. You can read about em right here! I'll live vicariously through both types, I suppose.

I had the LSA supercharger put on with the vengeance racing VRPD2 blower cam and the ZL1 pump and a 2.55 upper pulley installed. I made 640whp on 10lbs for almost 2 years with no problem.

I didn't have problems until I went turbo and ran 17lbs on stock bottom end.

Exactly. Someone (or many someones) said it - horsepower is an addiction. You're only going to want more when you start down the path. "Problems" simply come with the territory. I really, really wanted a SC early on but that 'stock bottom end' - with AFM lifters, always worried me. I think I'm glad I waited.

I'm liking the idea of a good cam set up more and more.
