i cant decide
ok im not one sided, rather a car enthousiest. iv had 2 camaros 4th gens and 3 mustang gt's. Im trying to make a decision. iv always wanted a 5th gn and my time to get my next car and a new car at that is coming up very soon, im tryingto make a decision. we all know iv been on here since 2008 and know what all there is to know about the camaro, Iv done the same about the mustang and challenger. what ever i get im payng cash for, im only staying in either the ss range the 5.0 range (unless i find a used cobra at gopod price) or srt (r/t sucks.). the only thing is im more intersted in a 2013 mustang gt or a 2013 camao ss. with out all of us being one sided. going off price for car with options what is the best bang for my buck?

Well I know one thing, you can get a Ford Mustang in any flavor cheaper than a comparable Camaro, at least in my area. When I was shopping the dealer was down to $26,500 on a 2012 V6, manual trans, leather interior, full gauge package, MCA package (grille, 19" wheels, stripes). It was a really nice car. That was before I even tried to negotiate anything.
But, as you can see, I'm in a 1LT/Auto Camaro. Paid $26,105 I think. I liked the looks more and read better things about the drive train. If I was shopping for a V8, I'm not sure. I haven't drove the V8 in either car.

For me, looks was everything, and for me, the Camaro wins every time.
As stated, the Camaro will probably run you more, but you will get more head turns, and that is worth something.

My honest opinion....I don't like the direction, cosmetically speaking, the mustang has taken over the last several years. That alone has turned me off from them. When the 5th gen. came out for the Camaro....it was a no brainer decision. I'm not bashing Mustangs at all I just don't care for the looks of them anymore, but thats just my opinion. I've been at school picking my kids up and had both my Camaro and a new mustang waiting in line, the kids always flock to my car to check it out and give a thumbs up ... not the Mustangs.

bang for your buck...GT vs SS.......the mustang 5.0- No question.

This is my 3rd Camaro or Trans Am. So I am kinda used to a stiffer riding car but IMHO..... My SS rides much better than I expected it to, great highway car, comfortable, stiff and solid when you need ...like in corners. I live in the great white north and the roads here are not the best but honestly mine rides great! Always remember.....the stiffer it rides...the better it handles, the softer/cushier the ride....the worse its going to handle and be controlled. Unless you have a magnetic ride suspension, which the ZL1 Camaro has.

(automatic v6, cloth, owned for a year and 4 months) no stains, very smooth ride, still shifts smoothly and effortlessly, the cloth hasn't torn at all, the seats are veryyy comfortable and the ONLY problem I have had was that the outline of the speedometer came I little loose
