Weight capacity of a Camaro is 1000lbs. This includes driver or passengers and luggage...or in this case...a ghetto ass trailer. :P

Saw a C-6 Vette towing a motorcycle trailer on the interstate last week.

Have seen a Corvette trailoring, launching and pulling out jet skis. Fun on the ramp!

Convertibles can be classified in the light, light truck class. Adding trailer towing capacity makes good sense for some. And I beleive that the Camaro towing capacity is 1000 lbs (total weight of trailer and cargo being towed, not including weight of driver/passenger and car cargo).

I have hauled quite a few things in a convertible that folks were surprised about...

- a high-back swivel office chair
- a 26" tube TV (still in the crate)
- most of a set of chairs for a dining room set
(all of those in an old LeBaron)

and of course:

Hey some people need to have a trailer for rare occasions and can't afford to have a truck and camaro. So you gotta make the best of what you have.
